Password Settings
In the admin module in the Reports Users tab, you can set the conditions for the complexity and password expiration:
- for all the users:
- for each and every user separately:
Important: password settings that are user-specific are of the highest priority.
The following parameters will be available in the appeared form:
- The user must change the password at the next login to the system – the user must change the password specified by the administrator;
- The validity period of the initial password specified by the administrator – the administrator sets the validity period of the initial password (the number of months or the end date);
- Validity period – the validity period of the password (the number of months or the end date);
- Length without special characters (at least) – length of the password, the password must include 3 of the 4 following groups of symbols: uppercase letters (capital letters), lowercase letters (small letters), numbers, special characters (! @ # $% ^ *? _ ~ – £ ().,);
- Length with special characters (at least) – the length of the password with special characters, the password must include 3 of the 4 following groups of characters: uppercase letters (capital letters), lowercase letters (small letters), numbers, and mandatory special characters (! @) # $% ^ *? _ ~ – £ ().,).
If the user’s password does not meet the conditions specified by the administrator in password settings, the user will be prompted to enter a new password that must match the password settings when logging into the reporting module:
