<\/a><\/p>\nWhen creating a new calculated measure select \u201cParallel Period\u201d measure type and press \u00abNext\u00bb:<\/p>\n
In the next window fill in all fields as it is shown in the picture:<\/p>\n The selected Parallel period type at the bottom (Value from parallel period<\/em>) means that the value of the measure selected in the \u201cBase Measure\u201d field (\u201cReseller Sales Amount\u201d) will be shown. The Time \u201cHierarchy\u201d field points to the hierarchy that will be used to count the parallel period. And the values in the \u201cLevel\u201d and \u201cPeriods\u201d fields mean that the data for a time period, that was 12 month before the current period, will be shown.<\/p>\n After filling in all fields press \u00abOK\u00bb and you will see a newly created measure in the measures list:<\/p>\n Place the months of the year 2017 on the columns of your table:<\/p>\n Place the \u201cBikes\u201d category from \u201cProduct Categories\u201d hierarchy into the context, thus you will see only the sales data for bikes:<\/p>\n After that place two measures on rows: \u201cReseller Saves Amount\u201d and newly created \u201cReseller Sales Amount Parallel Period\u201d. You will get the following report:<\/p>\n Add a chart to your report.
