Calculated measure type \u201cGrowth\u201d lets you create a measure that will show an absolute or relative growth of another measure.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s create a measure that will show a relative growth in percents of \u201cResellers Sales Amount\u201d measure in this month comparing to the previous month, and use that measure to show the sales growth of bikes.<\/p>\n

Add a new calculated measure of \u201cGrowth\u201d type:<\/p>\n

In the next step fill in the fields as it is shown in the picture:<\/p>\n

\u201cBase Measure\u201d field points to the measure the growth of which we are interested in. The Time Hierarchy field is for selecting the hierarchy that will be used to count growth, in most cases the time hierarchy (like \u201cDate.Calendar\u201d) should be selected here.<\/p>\n

After filling in all fields press \u00abOK\u00bb and you will see the new calculated measure in the list:<\/p>\n

In the report from the previous chapter remove the \u201cReseller Sales Amount Parallel Period\u201d measure from rows:<\/p>\n
