<\/a><\/p>\nThere are the following types of gauges:<\/p>\n
The field \u201cGoal\u201d defines the measure which will be used as a target in data analysis. By default it is empty. If we don\u2019t select a measure in the \u201cGoal\u201d field, the analysis is done relatively to the fact measure (in our case this is \u201cInternet Order Quantity\u201d).<\/p>\n Let us select the measure \u201cReseller Order Quantity\u201d in the field \u201cGoal\u201d:<\/p>\n The next step will be to select the \u201cGoal\u201d:<\/p>\n Then select the way how the label will be rendered:<\/p>\n And set the value of \u00a0\u201cX\u201d:<\/p>\n By default the application offers its own scale, but the user can override the value of the minimum and maximum:<\/p>\n As a result of the selected parameters we will get the visualization with the icon on a gauge meaning the fact (Internet Order Quantity).\u00a0 In the center of the gauge there is a label which displays the difference between fact and the goal:<\/p>\n As we can see on the pictures, the goal were not met in the years of \u00a02015 and 2016.<\/p>\n There is one more type of the gauges called \u201cTraffic lights\u201d:<\/p>\n Select the traffic lights in the drop down:<\/p>\n There are two kinds of visualizations for the traffic lights. In this type of the gauge the parameters are similar to the previous one:\u00a0 we can set the \u201cGoal\u201d if necessary. The difference is in the ranges which correspond to the color of the traffic lights.<\/p>\n Let us show the difference between the fact (Internet Order Quantity) and the goal (Reseller Order Quantity).\u00a0 The negative value of % of the difference will be displayed using red color, the difference from 0% till 90% will be displayed using yellow color, values of more than 90% will be displayed with green. Let us set up the following parameters:<\/p>\n As a result, we will get the following report:<\/p>\n You can switch on or off displaying the values:<\/p>\n Gauges can be built using two more ways: using the context menu and the toolbar.
